Patent Attorney

Whit brings more than 15 years of patent expertise to his role, supporting Innovius in tasks including collaborating on partner portfolios, conducting patent portfolio assessments, and facilitating strategic licensing transactions.

Prior to joining Innovius’ affiliate Marconi in 2022, Whit spent four years as a senior patent counsel at Ericsson. Before this, he honed his skills with patent prosecution and patent trials at an international law firm and as a patent examiner at the US Patent & Trademark Office in Alexandria, VA.

Whit earned his JD from the University of Michigan Law School and BS in Computer Engineering from the University of Arizona. He is registered to practice before the USPTO and is licensed to practice law in Texas.
