Brian Fahrenbach
Vice President, Licensing
As VP of Licensing at Innovius, Brian is developing and negotiating custom-built solutions for a range of clients, spanning complex bilateral licenses, aggregated patent licenses and novel risk-mitigation programs.
With established relationships in Silicon Valley, Japan, South Korea, and China, Brian has helped some of the world’s largest companies conclude patent licenses. Brian frequently acts as an intermediary to bridge the gap between companies that are seeking for freedom to operate and patent owners that are looking to monetize their portfolios.
Prior to Innovius, Brian spent time in private practice, litigating and prosecuting patent portfolios in both large firm and boutique settings, in the semiconductor, computing, and pharmaceutical industries. Before his legal career, Brian worked on a range of engineering consulting projects in the automotive, printing, and defense sectors.
Brian holds a JD from Loyola University Chicago School of Law and a BS in Engineering (Materials Science) from Franklin W. Olin College of Engineering in Needham, Massachusetts.
