Kirk Dailey

President

As President of Innovius, Kirk has built on deep expertise in navigating the complex challenges in intellectual property management to start a new kind of licensing business. Innovius builds custom patent licensing programs, connecting innovators with product makers and streamlining licensing to remove complexities and risks. Innovius now counts many of the world’s leading companies amongst its partners.

With over 25 years of licensing experience in ICT companies, and having strategic relationships with many global partners, Kirk recognized a need to transform how licensing is done – this was the founding philosophy for Innovius and its affiliate Marconi.

Previously, Kirk led licensing for Motorola Mobility, establishing its licensing business and ultimately packaging its IP portfolio as a substantial part of Google’s acquisition of the company. Subsequently at Google, he built and led the patent transactions team, responsible for strategic and community-based licensing and also being instrumental in the sale of Motorola Mobility to Lenovo.

Kirk holds a JD from DePaul University, a Certificate in European Legal Studies from Tulane University and a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Michigan.
